When Are Massage Openings Easiest to Find in Winnipeg?

We counted Winnipeg massage openings in October 2026. Weekdays had three to five times as many as Sundays, and most started between 10 AM and 3 PM.

From October 5 to 18, 2026, Winnipeg clinics offered 4,988 massage appointment times on AvailableMassages.ca. We counted them by day and by start time to see when it's easiest to get in, then checked the last week of October to see whether the pattern held.

The Short Answer

  • Go on a weekday between 10 AM and 3 PM if you can. More than half of all openings started in that window.
  • Sundays had the fewest openings. In early October a typical weekday had about 480 and a typical Sunday had 97. In the last week of the month, with more clinics included, it was about 580 and 190.
  • Saturday sat in between, with about 150 openings in early October and about 275 at the end of the month.
  • Evenings were scarce. About one opening in seven started at 5 PM or later, and almost none started after 8 PM.

Openings by Day of the Week

Each figure is the average for that day from October 5 to 18. Thanksgiving Monday is left out, so the Monday row is a single day.

Thursday was the busiest day and Friday the quietest weekday. Even Friday had about four times as many openings as a Sunday.

Thanksgiving Monday (October 12) had 171 openings at 36 clinics, close to a normal Saturday. One holiday isn't much to go on, but it suggests a holiday Monday looks more like a weekend than a weekday.

Saturday and Sunday

In early October, 41 clinics had at least one opening on a typical Saturday. On a typical Sunday, 26 did. Sunday had about a fifth as many openings as an average weekday. By the last week of the month that was closer to a third (more on that below).

If Sunday is the only day that works for you, there isn't much to choose from, so book a time that fits when you see one. The Sunday openings page shows only Sunday times.

Openings by Time of Day

Start time Share of openings
Before 10 AM10%
10 AM to 3 PM56%
3 PM to 5 PM19%
5 PM to 8 PM14%
8 PM or later1%

Most open time is in the middle of the day. Of the 4,988 openings, 740 started at 5 PM or later and 59 started at 8 PM or later.

If you can only go after work, check the evening openings for today and for the next few days. With so few evening times, waiting for one to open up on the same day is a long shot.

How Much Notice Last Minute Openings Give

Some clinics post single openings at short notice instead of showing their whole week. Here is how far ahead of the start time those openings appeared.

  • 59% appeared between 3 and 24 hours before the start time.
  • 32% appeared one to three days ahead.
  • 10% appeared less than 3 hours before the start time.

Most last minute openings show up less than a day ahead. Checking the evening before and again in the morning catches most of them. The tomorrow and today pages are the quickest way to do that.

What Changed in Late October

We added clinics on October 23, so we looked at October 24 to 31 on its own instead of blending it into the numbers above.

Weekdays still had the most openings, and Thursday was again the busiest day. The weekend gap narrowed, though. Sunday went from about a fifth of a weekday to about a third, and Saturday went from about a third to about half.

The rest held steady. In the last week of October, 59% of openings started between 10 AM and 3 PM, 14% started at 5 PM or later, and 58% of last minute openings appeared 3 to 24 hours ahead.

Part of the change comes from the clinics we added, and one week is a small sample, so we'll keep an eye on it in the monthly updates.

How We Counted

  • An opening is a massage therapy appointment time that a Winnipeg clinic offered and that appeared on AvailableMassages.ca. Each one counts once, on the day it was due to start.
  • The main figures cover October 5 to 18, 2026, and the 158 Winnipeg clinics that had at least one massage opening in that time. The late October figures cover October 24 to 31 and 145 clinics. With only one week, most days there are a single day. None of the figures include physiotherapy or Toronto.
  • We added clinics on October 23, so the two periods aren't directly comparable.
  • Thanksgiving Monday is left out of the day-of-week averages.
  • Some clinics show all their free times for the week, and others post single openings. Both count.
  • The notice figures are approximate.
  • We publish totals only. Nothing here identifies a clinic, a therapist or anyone who used the site.

We'll post a short update with new figures each month.
