What Does “RMT” Mean in Manitoba?
In Manitoba, Registered Massage Therapists complete a comprehensive 2,200-hour diploma program covering advanced anatomy, physiology, pathology, neurological assessments, and clinical orthopedics. Since June 2026, massage therapy has been a regulated health profession in Manitoba under The Regulated Health Professions Act, and the College of Massage Therapists of Manitoba is being set up to register RMTs.
